The second book in Terry's new "Built to Last" series
Hers by Design
(working title)
Stylish architect Tess Roussel returns to the small town of Carnelian
Cove on California's northern coast to pursue her dream of owning her
own design firm. But her joy
at winning her first big commission is quickly diminished when she
discovers the contractor hired for the job is Quinn, an intense, laconic
man with a reputation for hard work and harder living.
Tess wants this project to showcase her talent to her new community. Quinn wants it to come in on time and under budget. Her struggle for creative control puts her on a collision course with the man who views the construction job as his responsibility. But when the sparks begin to fly, they aren't entirely work-related. And when a suspicious fire damages part of the construction project, Tess and Quinn are forced to cooperate in the search for a saboteur.
